You had me at, "Hello".

Have I mentioned that I love my job?! It's true. I am now among the blessed who get to actually say that they love their job. I love it for a lot of reasons, but one of them being the people I get to meet, reconnect, and work with. Among those are Matt and Stephanie! I knew I was going to love them from the first time I talked to Stephanie on the phone! They've got such a great energy about them and are as sweet as they are beautiful! They will be my first (hopefully the first of many:)) wedding that I shoot...and I couldn't have picked a better couple.
We met at a beautiful horse farm where we took their engagement pictures. While we were there, they told me that Matt took Stephanie up to the Sears Tower to propose, but they kept walking in circles 'cause he was so nervous he couldn't get it out the first time around.:) I loved it and thought it was such a cute story.

Matt and Stephanie...I LOVED meeting you and am excited for November! It's going to be fun!!!

They had such great input in the shoot and were up for trying anything!

I love this moment that was caught on film...I noticed that some of my favorite shots from the day were the ones caught when I was getting my lighting.

They laughed really easily with eachother...especially Stephanie! :)

This shot was actually posed by the gentleman that owns the horses! I think I need to hire him as my assistant. :)

Once in a while, I will look a picture and think, "Wow, this picture didn't stand out to me when I took it, but now I'm really glad that I did". That's how I feel when I look at this picture. I love the light and deep emotion felt through what is actually a very simple picture. Photobucket

awesome, once again. it's such a great setting with the horses and all. the one with the light behind them kissing looks like it belongs in a movie.
