Summer Lovin' - And the winners are...

Oh friends, it's official...this is my favorite contest I've ever run! I can't tell you how much fun I've had getting all your pictures, so thanks A MILLION to all of you who sent me pictures!!!

Well, as I posted before, picking a picture was MUCH more difficult than I thought it would be, so I had Rebekah draw numbers for me, so all the winners were randomly drawn. So I gave each winner's picture a touch of Tami Paige editing and they'll be getting an 8x10 print of their pictures!

Alissa...
Alissa and I have been friends for years! She and her husband have adorable little girls, as seen in this picture that was drawn as a winner! I love the look in her face as she holds the fuzzy little caterpillar. Great job, Alissa!

Beth...
I was honored to be Beth's maid of honor this past summer!!! This picture is from her honeymoon with her new husband...I really love this picture! I love that I feel like I'm sitting in the canoe...and also like how he's looking at the map out in the middle of nowhere!


Joy...
This one made me laugh out loud when I got it!!! Everything about it laughs, Summer Lovin'! :) Joy and her husband are some of the sweetest people I know, and so I love this little honey without even having met her! Thanks Joy!

This is a really great picture!!! Great job, photographer!! This is a picture of the Oregon coast was taken while Mark and his wife went on a trip with some other couples. Gorgeous!!! I've never been to Oregon, but this picture makes me want to add this to my "to go" list!


Carmen...
When I think of summer memories, I think of swimming with my cousins, so I LOVED this picture 'cause I remember that pure joy that is on their adorable little faces!!! I still love wrapping up in a towel after swimming...just not as cute. You caught such great expressions, Carmen!

Another great scenery shot! I'll be honest, I'm not good at taking these kind of pictures, so I'm in awe of people who are! Great job, Abi!!! I can almost hear the waves...wish I could jump in this picture! :)

Um, how do I even write about this one?!?! This gem was sent to me by my dear friend and roommate, Leah! HU-LARIOUS!!! I'm always telling Leah that she should have a blog because she's sooo funny...and this picture is just another reason why she should blog. I LOVE the emotion that is captured in this picture!!! Great job, Anita!!! Anita is involved in 4-H. She said that they took some of their high school students on a day trip with no destination in mind...the only goal was to find fun along the way!! My kind of trip...love it, Anita!!! They ended up in Bloomington at Grady’s and then Emak and Bolio’s! Next time, I want to go! :)

Katie sent me so many picture to choose from, and I wasn't sure which one, except that this picture immediately caught my eye 'cause it's the perfect picture of somewhere I've always wanted to go!!! This is really such a beautiful picture!!! It's a little small, but you can still see what a great image it is!!! Katie and Arlan travel all the time, and this just makes me want to hop in their suitcase with them...take me with you! :)

This picture was sooo great...not just for the picture itself but I think that this little guy's parents have some of the best, infectious laughs so I loved seeing it with this little guy!!! Sara, he's definitely reminds me of you and think he looks like such a sweet little guy!!!

I've never met Rachel, and I LOVE hearing from people that I don't know but follow my blog! It's always such an honor. However, Rachel ad her sister grew up being very good friends with my roommate Leah and her sister Sarah. Rachel and husband have committed this time of their lives working with youth needing a hand up in life. Rachel, your little girl is beautiful! I'm excited to meet you some day!!

Oh Kimmie, you know this picture would make this patriot smile! :) I feel like it should be on the cover of some 4th of July billboard (if those exist)...now if there was a Japanese flag being waved I may have just had to insist on you winning all three spots! :)

Samantha took the one and only photography class I've been in...good ol' Heartland and trying to develop the film in complete darkness, spending hours burning edges and wasting countless sheets of paper! Good times!!! Looks like you've got some mad photography skills there!!!...and an adorable dog!!! I would love to see this picture in print...it would make for such a beautiful image!!! Great job Sam...I shouldn't be surprised, you're awesome at everything you do! :)
