When Steph first asked if I'd take her senior pictures, I had the following conversation in my head...
How fun! I can't believe she asked me!
Wait, I can't take her pictures...I'm not sure if I want to shoot seniors sessions
(or Chic Collections as I've named them for my business!)
But this is Steph...you're not going to say no to Steph!
And am I sooo glad I didn't! Just look at her...
I love the lighting in this one...
As I was grabbing a chair out of my office, I saw this hat and thought, "Aha! Perfect." Yep...she's perfect.
One reason why I've chosen to call them Chic (pronounced "sheek") Collections is because I have a difficult time wrapping my mind around what are typical senior images. They tend to be a very different style from my own, and as hard as I tried, in my mind, I couldn't marry the two styles. However, I do ADORE fashion photography and so my vantage point is to shoot from a fashion perspective and create a more Chic Collection...hence the name.
Steph, you were perfect for showcasing what I envision my collections to look like...thanks for being such an amazing subject for me! Can't wait to show you the rest!

I agree with Heidi...you need to be doing more seniors! You are really good at them!! I wish I was a senior so you could do me...ha ha...not really...you can say it, I will be a senior citizen soon enough! :)
