Dancing to impress

I had a moment last week...I was twirling around trying to sing "Be Our Guest" with the movie playing, in an effort to be the coolest aunt the two little ones on the couch had seen.  I was getting dizzy, so as I found myself crashing into the fireplace with my arms outstretched, I composed myself just in time to see the two little faces...one scowling at me. The other confused.  That's when I realized that my 2 year old nephew in his Cars pjs and my 4 year old niece in her ballerina tutu were both more mature than I.

Trust me, "Cool Aunt" was not the memory we made! Less is more...less is more...I should make that my theme whenever dancing is involved.

Secretly, nieces and nephews LOVE crazy and weird aunts. My oldest niece would always pretend to be embarrassed by my public dancing around or something, but I could tell she really thought I was cool. :) I'm sure that's the case here.

um i think you should adopt me as your niece because i would ALWAYS think you're the coolest ESPECIALLY when immaturity and dancing are involved :)

I didn't read this until now but that is SO FUNNY!!! LOVE It! and you know the only reason Gare was scowling was cause he wanted to do the same, but didn't have the courage and Aria was curiously wondering how you pulled off those smooth moves. haha!!
