Great Scott!

So, the story goes something like this...
I wanted to make a vendor list to give to my clients.  As I was coming up with my "dream team", I thought of Scottwood Floral.  They had done the flowers for both of my sister's weddings and for my mom's funeral. I remembered the flowers from all three and how much I had loved them.  So, I wanted to put Scott and his business on my list.  However, as the working relationship is almost as important as the product, I wanted the experience of working with Scottwood so I could tell my clients, "Hey, I've worked with them, and they're fantastic!"

I'll tell you this...I've never been a bride, but I've been a bridesmaid 15 times and counting...and I'm telling you, your vendors are important.  I decided that I wanted to invest in vendors that I really believed in...and doing what I could to help make their business even more of a success. I knew that I believed in Scottwood Floral and the work they do, but I wasn't sure how Scott (the owner) would respond to my offer of taking update images for his website.  He could be excited or he could be offended...just as I had hoped, he was excited.

I can't even tell you how excited I am to have gotten to take pictures for him.  Whether you are a bride or not, you'd have fun visiting SCOTTWOOD FLORAL (Eureka, IL).  I'm serious.  They do so much more than fresh flowers...I told someone, that I would like to vacation there...yep. For a week.  I'd set my little ol' self down in one of those chairs and drink a cup of coffee.  It almost feels like you're at a really good smelling, beautiful spa.  As soon as you walk in, the beautiful music and the atmosphere just make you want to stay...for-ever! :)
Yeah, yeah...you remember my post about me being over-dramatic, but trust me...you wouldn't regret the trip there!!! And for all of my out-of-state and international readers (yep, I know about you!)...if you're ever in the area...let me know and we can grab some coffee there. :)

Scott made me a cup of coffee to drink...it was YUM!!!...I've done my best to cut coffee out of my life, but this was definitely worth the exception I made. :)
I was loving all the little decorating details they had.

I kept thinking how great of a place for a guy to shop for his wife or girlfriend, 'cause it's a one-stop deal: flowers, cards, candy, coffee, and decorations.

I was a little bit obsessed with this bird-feeder...I think I may be going back to buy it for myself!

I think I should say that I'm not sponsored by Scottwood Floral in any way...I am just loving the store and was super excited to share the lovliness of it all!!

Scottwood did the flowers for my wedding which were by FAR my favorite "decorative piece" of the day. Bouquets of peachy tulips for the bridesmaids. LOVED THEM!! Love that first tulip bouquet picture too!!

Scottwood did the flowers for my wedding (calla lillies) as well and they were my favorite part of the decor! Let me know when you plan your Scottwood vacation, I'd love to join you. The most difficult part of a visit the this store is limiting myself on purchases!

I love Scottwood - sometimes when I drive by I want to stop just to enjoy the experience of browsing around - even when I don't need anything. Not only is it a lovely shop, Scott is a very nice person and he and his staff are very talented. Nice promo, Tami! Great pictures.

I am a Huge fan! They are my go to when I need to send flowers to people in central IL, its fun too that they know who I am when I call all the way from my little home in the Mountains:). Have a great week! Blessings

Tami - did you know my Mom works there?? :) She LOVES her job! and sometimes she even blesses me with goodies from there! I would agree - amazing store, great staff, and goooood coffee! :) Oh, and I have been a lucky recipient of 1 of Erin's flower deliveries! :) Just a heads up...if any of you DO go there (which I think you should) you'd better have plenty of time! I walk through there over & over and still see something I didn't catch the 1st or 2nd time around :) These pics are great....awesome job, Tam!!
