Sometimes, dreams come true

I've dreamt of, imagined, talked, and planned of going to Ireland some day.  There's just something about the pictures I've seen, the music I hear, and the history I've read that makes me ache to go there.  I've said many times that I think I would have been a good Irish.  Probably a bit annoying at that...I'd dress in all green on St. Patrick's Day.  I'd tell everyone I was Irish and wear shirts commanding people to kiss me because of it.  I'd use words like "Blarney" and "Lassie" on a regular basis.  I'd eat sheperd's pie and give Irish blessings to people in the grocery store.  I'd make myself like beer and click my heels on the way out of church.

Well, watch out Ireland...'cause this I-may-be-Japanese-but-I'm-certain-my-great-great-great-great-great-grandpa-must've-been-Irish-girl is comin' to town!! :)  That's right...with what I can only think of as a miracle...I'm meeting my friend, Leslie there! I can't even begin to tell you how excited we are and I'm afraid you're going to hear all about it!!

So, it only seems appropriate to end my posts, from now 'til I leave, with an Irish Blessings:

God be with them now, and bring them home with their fair share of stock or money.

...haha! sounds good to me! :) Happy Weekend!!

I really want to say something super cheesy like "I'm GREEN with envy." But instead I'll just say...wow, I'm jealous. That sounds SO fun!

FUN! I have been and I LOVED it so much I can't wait to go back! When are you going? Do you have a plan of what you will be doing already set? Let me know if you want suggestions. Northern Ireland was my favorite and we were only there a couple days, wish I could have stayed longer. Kissing the Blarney stone is a MUST.
