Moses Supposes

I wanted to tap-dance...that, and be a jockey! :)  I've always had some random ambitions...but I remember putting on my patent leather sunday shoes and trying to teach myself how to tap-dance in our driveway.  Haha! Now that I'm imagining it, I'm wondering what our neighbors saw as I'm pretty certain that what I was doing was NOT resembling tap-dancing!

Growing up, Singing in the Rain was one of my favorites...and I have had a wee bit of a crush on Donald O'Connor...so as I was working last night, I put in the movie and was fighting an urge to look for my patent leathers and give it another go. :)  I've traded in my tap-dancing dreams for others, but this still remains as one of my favorite movie scenes...so it only seemed fitting to share it with you! :)

Happy Thursday.

Rebekah, speaking of nerds, I just learned in my Reminisce magazine this month that "Singing in the Rain" just had it's 60th birthday.

Haha....I wish I could have seen you in the driveway! ;) I truly do think tap dancing is so impressive and cool, though....you are not alone in your dream. :)

yaaah! I introduced this movie to my 2 year-old. As expected, she loved it... and started stomping her feet as I explained tap-dancing.
:)
And I think I still have a little crush on him...
