The Manual Workshop: February 23, 2013

I can't count the times someone has said to me,
"I wish I could hire you to teach me how to use my camera!"
You're saying, "I don't know how to use all the settings and functions"...but what I'm hearing is,
"I want someone to teach me as simply as they can, how to take a good picture!"
...well friends, I heard you!!

On February 23, 2013, I will be hosting my first workshop!!
I'm announcing this now because this could be a great Christmas gift idea to give someone...
or while you're asking for a new camera, you ask for this workshop as well!
Just a thought. :)
...I've had a lot of wives say they want to send their husbands, so don't think this is for women only!

Who is this workshop for?
Anyone is welcome!! If you're someone who enjoys taking pictures but you want to take your images to the "next level", this would be perfect for you!  You know there's more to your camera than shooting in auto, and you feel frustrated in wanting to do more? You should definitely join us!

What will I need?
You'll want to make sure that you have a DSLR camera as (by the name) we'll be spending a large part of the workshop learning how to shoot manually and manipulating light to produce beautiful images.  If you don't have a DSLR camera and want to come just learn for when you do buy your camera, or you want to learn how to compose a shot, then you can still come!!

When is it going to be?
February 23, 2013: 10a ~ 3p

Where is all this fun going to take place?
Bloomington, IL

What's my investment and what does it include?
It includes 5 hours of learning, Q+A's,  fun, practicing, and hanging out with great people!
Lunch + Snack
Some fun giveaways and takeaways!

What will we learn?
I'll teach what you want to learn...so YOU tell ME what you want to learn.  As of now, here are some of the topics that will be covered:
- Shooting manually
- Working with natural light
- Composition
- We will have a couple models there to practice on and run different scenarios with
- Lightly touch on Lightroom/Photoshop
