Jared + Kristi {Just 'Cause}

A year ago, I would have called Kristi my photographer-friend...but now she's become my dear friend who also happens to be a photographer.  She is the owner and photographer of Kristi Lee...her new website is so cute and is such a good reflection of her vivacious and fun personality!

This past year has brought a lot of changes for both of us...and she's been someone that I've been able to lean on and freak out talk to.  I love that she's someone who is real...she's not afraid to say she's afraid or excited.  She's taking risks...making changes...and pursuing the unknown...and I'm so incredibly proud of her.

When Kristi asked me to do a shoot with she and her husband, I was honored.  She told me that she was wanting pictures that showed "them"...not stiff poses...and I have to say, this was a really laid back and fun shoot because they laugh easily and Jared was such an awesome sport as I asked him to lift her, piggy back, give me serious expressions, and walk in soggy fields because it "looks so pretty!"  

 Good call on the cowboy boots, Kristi...LOVE them!!

Thanks for letting me be not only a part of this shoot, but your life.  You were one of the best finds of 2012...and the distance between here and Chicago isn't going to have anything on us!...I'll keep cheering you on and believing in all your dreams.
