Kendra recently gave this contract to me that she'd found. I had completely forgotten about this, but if you've ever been a part of a girl's night where you're up past 2:00am, there's a lot of popcorn, twizzlers, and venting going on, you may have a contract or two laying around as well...or not.:)
Needless to say, "attitudes + strong personality traits" never did change...and I'm a girl of my word. ;)
I love talking to young girls about life, decisions, and perspectives they have on their friendships...and when they ask me for advice, I always hear myself saying, "Invest in your girl friends...they're the ones that will stick with you if the cute boy moves on. Find those friends you know are true...and be loyal to them. Don't sell them out...trust me, it'll always pay off."
This contract was signed 7 years ago. Kendra does have a married name now, and Mr. Anonymous is long gone...but when I decided to move to Chicago, she was the first friend I told. I knew she had my back then...and now.
Here's to true friends.
