RESTART

Yesterday, I was honored to be one of 30 in-studio audience members for Jasmine Star's RESTART course with CreativeLive, here in Seattle, WA.  This 8 hour course was broadcast live via the internet to aprox. 15,000 viewers from around the world.  As I sat there, listening, scribbling notes, and trying my best to digest every crumb of knowledge, my heart began to beat with the knowledge that my business...and by extension, my life...was going to change.

I'd be lying if I said it doesn't scare me...because it does.  But as I was talking about taking risks on Showit Live with my friend, Lauren, she asked me what made me decide to take the leap and make the move. I said, "I came to the place where I knew the worst of taking a risk and failing was better than the best of nothing changing at all."...and I knew I believed it.  I knew it when I quit my corporate job to pursue photography full time.  I knew it when I made the move to Chicago...and I knew it yesterday as I sat at RESTART.

I'll write more extensively about my experience here at RESTART and what I learned...but until then, I'm incredibly excited for this year.  One of my friends (who was watching online) texted me and said, "I see you TP!! This is already such an interesting year for you...excited to see what else 2013 brings!"Amen to that. :)

My roommates for the week...such incredible and dear friends already.  I can't believe I didn't even know you a measly 48 hours ago!

Melissa...I'm rooting for you.  You know I think you're amazing and am excited to cheer you on 'til March and beyond!

Ryan...you've already won us all over!!  I'm already so incredibly proud of you.
