Cody + Abby {Wedding}

They're artists...he's a musician. She likes photography.  When I heard that, I breathed deeply because I knew they were a couple that would give me some freedom...I've learned that once an artists is hiring me to shoot what is possibly one of their most important days, they've thought it through and they're hiring someone they trust artistically...and for that, I could have hugged them.

The day was rainy, and we began discussing alternative locations for where to shoot.  This was Cody and Abby afterall...my couple that we were going to push the envelope artistically, because I knew they'd go there with me...

However, the rain didn't stop...and what we found was an umbrella and the corner under a pavilion...and that's when I decided, what we were lacking in a variety of locations, we'd make up in simply showcasing the affection they have for eachother...

I remember Abby saying to me, "We'll just work with what we have and it'll be fine..." I LOVE that kind of a bride...

Needless to say, I started shooting and knew that changing locations would have only taken away from the time I would have to shoot what was happening...

...they make love look beautiful...

Seriously. Abby....you define natural beauty.

And Cody...you gave me everything and more that I wanted when shooting you!!

I loved this...it was one of those natural moments that I just happen to catch...those are the best.

You are seriously the cutest!!

And yeah, what bride has the time to personally paint all these place cards?! What a great personal touch to her day...

Cody + Abby...
Despite the rain, you had such a beautiful day because the friendship and love you share exudes from you.  Capturing your love was easy because it's so natural and genuine.  It was such a special day to be a part of...thanks so much for picking me. :)
