Late Night Conversations...

Caller: You don't know who I am but I was wondering if you could give me Justin Bieber's phone number.
Me: Excuse me?
Caller: Um, yeah...could you give me Justin Bieber's phone number?
Me: Maam, you've reached State Farm Insurance.
Caller: So? Can you give me his number?
Me: Uh, I don't have that information and even if I did, that's not something we would give out.
Caller: Well then, you're an idiot!!!

I love my job.

Oh Tami do you and I need to compare stories. I hear so many things in the CRC that never fail to amaze me. I sometimes think "did I really hear him/her say that? Are they really that dumb...they just cannot be". Of course those are the stories we tell and not the PH that is kind and considerate. I really do love my job but thankful it is part-time!! Marcia

P.S. Also you are working the night shift and I think the wierdos are out and about. I hear the stories from the night crew when I come in early morning!! Keeps life interesting!!

lol i could totally see your mischievous friends calling at that hour to help you get through the night! :) btw, i still love the story about the midget truck driver. that was a top notch call.

Taryn, those were my thoughts exactly!! :) However, I made that last sentence "G-Rated" compared to what she actually called me so no, Beth, I don't think it was any of my friends. :)

i just love every strange call you get! I think my favorites are still the calls from KY though. I loved the one of the guy who didn't know what a zip code was and couldn't spell his address! It still makes me laugh!!

Hahaha... Taryn I was thinking that same thing. I was just going to comment... Are you sure it wasn't Holly. Hilarious.
