Pictures of Me.

In the fall of 2009, I attended the Haven Workshop put on my Jed and Vicki Taufer, owners of V Gallery (http://vgallery.net)...

It was such a fun two days, and I've made friends from that workshop and still keep in contact with them!

As part of the workshop, Vicki took headshots of each photographer so we would have a nice professional picture that we could use on profiles for our business...

I'd just like to mention here that I didn't know about the headshots or else I would have worn a different outfit....................ah, who am I kidding? I probably would have looked exactly the same.

Well, I never ended up using either one 'cause I felt funny using one of myself laying down, but recently decided that it would be good to have some professional quality headshots, so I had Rebekah snap a couple pictures for me...and now we come to the point of this post..

Call me an odd duck, but I really like very pale complexions...I just think people like Nicole Kidman and Kristen Stewart have such beautiful skin. I've always been curious to know how pale my skin could actually get.  So this, combined with the fact that I was turning 29 and wanting to slow down the aging process, I made it my goal last year not to get any form of a suntan.  Working 3rds made this pretty easy.  Well, um, let me just say that I think I got my answer!!!

I actually DARKENED my nose and cheeks in these picture because I could hardly see my nose!!!  I think I could probably land a role in Twilight as one of their paleface vampires!  The funny thing is when I'd gotten the images from Vicki last year, I remember thinking, "Wow, I look so white!"  Apparently, I hadn't seen nothin' yet! :)  So, here's to all of you who thought YOU were the palest person in the midwest! :) You've got major competition.
Thanks sooooo much to Rebekah for taking these headshots for me!!!

i agree that there are beautiful pale complected people. you being one of them. :) unfortunately for me, i always have these huge black circles under my eyes, which doesn't make being pale very attractive. :)

The comments tonight made me laugh...so funny! Bek, your comment was so funny, Whit, laughing at Bek's was funny, and Shar with the dark circles, was so funny. I think I am just REALLY tired...or I think all of my family are funny!
Tam, I do think you are beautiful, even though I tried to convince you that most people look better with a little color. haha

Tami, I had to laugh at this because I always prefer to have a little bit of a tan but during winter, it just isn't possible!

However, I have never so acutely felt the "winter whities" until this winter with brown-skinned babies. :) Blah. Please come summer!

Tami, I am commenting on your blog!! You are beautiful dear friend tan or pale. Maybe I should embrace my more pale self in the winter, as I am one to always want that lovely tan glow! BTW if you get a part in Twilight based on your paleness, please pass on the message to Robert Pattison that hes in love with me and just doesnt know it yet:)
