This past weekend, after shooting a wedding in Minnesota, I flew down to Kentucky Lake to join my family for a family vacation! It was great...just what I needed. After shooting a wedding, I always put my camera away for a couple days just for a break, so I didn't take many pictures in Kentucky, but here are a few...
We all stayed in a "cottage" near the lake...it was great! Highly recommend it. I got to share a room with my two little nieces...it was so fun to lay in bed each morning with those crazy girls and chat.
Little Willski is going through his little cheesy grin stage! I loved this little walk up to the cottage...very seaside feel which I love.
My nieces and rommies for the weekend...I'm not lying when I say that these girls are some of the funnest people I know...always up for a party with these two!
Pretty sure Josh's response when I said, "Can you smile for me, bud?" was, "No thanks...I'm okay like this." Haha! And I have no explanation for Will's expression except that he kept saying, "I can't, Tami! It's too bright!"
So, the reason we headed down to Kentucky Lake is because my dad has a sailboat down there that we hadn't met yet...
My opinion of her? Ahhhh....she was yar!! I found my sweet spot with her at the front.
The entire family went out for a ride but it was a little hectic, so the next night just the guys and I took her out...

I always take pictures of the kids but forget to get some of the adults...I snapped a couple of Jarod and Heidi. I'm wishing I'd gotten more of the rest of the family...I guess we'll have to take another vacation so I can! ;)

Tam, so glad you got some pictures! Love all of them, except for the last two. I knew I didn't like it as soon as I saw it, but hey, I guess it inspires me to keep working out. haha

What a fun little vacation! All the pictures are fantastic! Heidi, I kept looking at the last two thinking they were so darling and I wish I had some of Darin and I just casual like that! You are too hard on yourself...you are so beautiful :)

Oh I have so much to say about this post! First off, you have adorable nieces and nephews!! Love the one of Josh sitting on the front of the boart, and the picture of he and Darci! Secondly, I must say, as long as I have known your dad, he definitely knows how to pick out his toys!! The man does not hold back:) I love it! Third, Hedi the pictures of you and Jarod are great. I have no idea what you are talking about pretty girl. And lastly, Tami, you are one talented photographer. Can I bring you along to snap pics the next time Benji, the kiddos and I take off somewhere? Love you~
